Our Vision
23rd century science will be better than mere super-high-tech space flight, light-speed holographic communications and talking computers. Truly advanced science is not plastic or unnatural. For, what could be more natural than learning how the universe works and then working in harmony with that knowledge?
True natural science is inherently ecologically friendly. For, truly advanced understanding is not destructive. It is constructive. It does not exploit, but builds in concert with the natural environment. That which destroys is unnatural science.
The Earth is our home and the more we truly understand how the natural universe works, the better equipped we are to build in a balanced thoughtful manner.
Passive Annual Heat Storage – An Idea Whose Time Has Come, Again
Our Passive Annual Heat Storage is not just another alternative energy idea that grew out of the energy shortages of the seventies. It demonstrates the logical and balanced application of knowledge.
Natural heat is collected all summer, when there’s more of it, and saved until winter when it’s needed. Instead of pumping heat into some expensive high-tech manufactured device, the building materials of the PAHS™ home are arranged in a special configuration to merely change the balance of natural heat flow of a conventional design.
As a result, the living environment is cooled through natural heat flow, eliminating the need for powered air conditioning. This heat is then stored in the earth around the home without the need for special equipment. When winter arrives, again, natural heat flow brings back the warmth to keep the home at a nearly constant comfortable temperature all year-round.
Balanced, practical, well thought out basic knowledge used to build rather than exploit or destroy. This balanced thoughtful approach accomplishes tasks that are impossible to complete using conventional thinking.
